Money Gun

Many creative projects were shut down by COVID, but perhaps none so mourned as the Money Gun Movie. In the before-times, I had promised that any alumni who returned to campus after landing their first job in the industry would be baptised in a torrent of (fake) dollar bills as a new class of hopeful designers watched on, clapping and cheering wildly.

All they had to do in return is let me film them receiving the ceremonial spray in slow motion so that I could create my ultimate resume piece; a 3-minute long super-cut of employed students grabbing cash set to DJ Snake & Lil Jon’s classic “Turn Down For What”.

I was able to film 12 students before we all started working from home. Somehow shooting the gun at my Zoom window isn’t quite the same.
