Do testimonials belong in my portfolio?
I can’t think of a project with a more tangible outcome than the feedback students give me upon finishing my course. I can’t seem to find a good way to organize them either. Enjoy below a sampling of them, in no particular order.

Nick has been one of the best teachers I've ever had in any subject. He was engaging, fun and really passionate about teaching and about getting all of us to the next steps. He's a keeper.
Way to keep morale super high throughout the entire course while also being realistic! For example, on the first day of class he said, 'You are all terrible at this.' That was oddly so encouraging to hear.

His lesson designing skills fit perfectly with GA's approach 'teach what students need to know to get a job'. Which means deemphasizing stats/trivia that won't actually impact student success in the industry. His students are lucky.
Nick is a great communicator. In a specific example, he clearly articulated how the curriculum updates will benefit all instructors and returning. It is awesome to see how Nick's "gift of gab" can make a lasting impression on GA's culture and people.

I have observed many educators in my career, and I can earnestly say that Nick is one of the most engaging instructors I have witnessed in the classroom. He does an excellent job of making sure everyone is included in the 'theatre' of the classroom.
